EFB Journal - The PAR promoter expression system: Modified lac promoters for controlled recombinant protein production in Escherichia coli

Recently accepted paper for the EFB Journal, New Biotechnology

Many commonly used bacterial promoters employed for recombinant protein production (RPP) in Escherichia coli are capable of high-level protein expression. However, such promoter systems are often too strong, being ill suited for expressing proteins that are difficult to fold, targeted to the membrane or secreted out of the cytoplasm.

            What's new in immunotherapies 2021

            SCI Event

            What's new in immunotherapies 2021

Immunotherapy is a hot-topic field of research that has generated significant scientific interest and fuelled industrial innovation. Small, drug-like molecules are ideal for use in the treatment of chronic conditions such as autoimmune and inflammation-related diseases. Excitingly, this approach also offers the possibility to treat cancer by harnessing the body’s own immune system to fight tumours.
This meeting will offer a broad introduction to those new to the topic and showcase recent innovations in this exciting and rapidly expanding field.
